Lord Rama was born in the house of the King of Ayodhya. His mother’s name was Kaushalya and his father’s name was Dasharatha. Lord Rama had three brothers: – Bharata, Shatrughna and Lakshmana. The name of Lord Rama’s Guru was Vashistha. He was married to Mata Sita. The pair of Lord Ram and Sita ji is still considered an ideal couple. Lord Ram Ji had two sons: – Luv and Kush. Hanuman is considered to be the biggest devotee of Lord Rama.

Education in Gurukul –

Sri Rama and his three brothers Bharata, Lakshmana and Shatrughna got education in Guru Vashisht’s Gurukula. The four brothers became very knowledgeable of the Vedas, Upanishads. Good human and social qualities were communicated to him in Gurukul. All of them became dear to their masters with their good qualities and desire for knowledge.

When was Lord Rama born? | Birth Date of Bhagwan Ram

Lord Rama was born in 5114 BC. If we calculate from today, 5114 + 2016 = 7130 Divya years ago, Lord Shri Ram was born. This research has been done on the basis of his birth mentioned in Maharishi Valmiki’s Ramayana. This research has been done by the scientific institute “I” on Lord Ram. The main roles in this research are played by Ashok Bhatnagar, Kulbhushan Mishra and Saroj Bala. According to them, Lord Rama was born on 10 January 5114. However some researchers believe that Lord Rama was born in 7323 BC.

Why did Lord Vishnu take Rama avatar?

According to Hindu belief, Vishnu took Ram incarnation to eliminate the unjust and evil demon king Ravana. In Shri Rama avatar, Vishnu ji brought forth the qualities of a world son, brother, husband and friend. Shri Ram ji, at the behest of his father, cut off the exile of 14 years and gave the message of Sugriva back to him by killing Bali while giving his message of friendship.

Lord Rama is also called Maryada Purushottam. Rama left the kingdom, friends, parents, even his wife to follow decorum. His family represents the ideal Indian family. Ram was born in Raghukul, whose tradition was to die, but the promise was not given. Father Dasaratha had pledged to step-mother Kaikeyi, to fulfill his 2 wishes (groom). Kaikeyi as his groom asked his son Bharata to be king of Ayodhya and 14 years of exile for Rama. Rama happily accepted 14 years of exile to protect his father’s word. Wife Sita chose to go to the forest with her husband, exemplifying the ideal wife. Step brother Laxman also supported his brother. Bharata rejects Mata’s order for justice and goes to elder brother Rama for his charanpaduka (sandal). Then put it on the throne and ruled.

Ram’s wife Sita took Ravana to Haran (Chura). Rama found Sita with the help of the people of the monkey, a tribe of the time. Built a bridge in the sea and fought with Ravana. After killing him, bring Sita back. In the forest, Rama found a friend and devotee like Hanuman who completed all of Rama’s work. After Rama returned to Ayodhya, Bharat handed over the kingdom to him. Ram loved justice. He ruled very well, so even today, good governance is likened to Ramrajya. Many festivals of Hinduism, such as Dussehra and Deepawali, are associated with the life story of Rama. The holy festival of Ramnavami is celebrated as the birth celebration of Shri Ram.

Lord Ram’s Message

Lord Rama is also called Maryada Purushottam. It is believed that Lord Rama did everything in a modest manner. Then whether it is to obey the orders of your parents without any question or whether Ravana is killed after Sita is killed in the forest. Even after Ravana’s death, he did not hate his enemy, but sent his brother to Ravana for education. The character of Lord Rama teaches us to serve our parents and obey them.
